Three scholarships will be awarded by the South Carolina USBC Youth for the current season as follows:

1-     $3,000 Scholarship

2-     $2,000 Scholarship

3-     $1,000 Scholarship

 

Attached is your application for these scholarships.  The scholarships are awarded based on Academics (50%) as well as Bowling Ability and Involvement (50%).  The three individuals who accumulate the greatest number of points, as determined from the enclosed application, will be declared the scholarship winners for the current season.  No scholarships will be awarded to an individual who accumulates less then 70 points on the 100 point scale.

 

Fill out Page 1 of the application completely.  Then take Page 1, along with Page 2 to your high school guidance counselor.  Ask your counselor to complete Page 2 and return both pages to the address indicated below.  Stress to your counselor that March 15 of your graduating year is the application deadline and check with your counselor frequently until the application has been forwarded.

 

Take the coach’s evaluation sheet to your bowling coach and have him/her complete the form and return it no later than March 15 of your graduating year to the address indicated below.  Check with your coach until the evaluation has been sent.
